In Red Automobile to the Kingdom of Communism

Compared to the more colorful, conventional styled poster art of the Revolutionary period in Russia, this series seems quite primitive, naive. Perhaps it was to separate them from the Bourgeoisie past, I don’t know, I’m not a freaking art student – but I do know that they grew on me over time and hence… It occured to me was that maybe these were intended to be two color prints, black and red. For example that automobile is not red like the caption says and you can see where another color could could be used in the other posters, flags etc. Artist(s) unknown.
